They weren’t looking for flashy campaigns. What all they needed was a steady, real social media strategy that reflected their personality and care. With their clear goal of showing up consistently online, growing local engagement, and driving more patients to their site, they reached out to us. This case study is all about how our strategic social media engagement strategy helped them earn their users' trust and accelerate their engagement.

The Client’s Background

Eagle Rock Family Dentistry, a Los Angeles-based dental clinic, provides extensive preventive, cosmetic, and restorative dental services, with a personal touch that ensures every patient feels at ease, supported, and informed. Their treatments include laser work and cutting-edge digital dentistry, right through to emergency appointments and sedation dentistry, making them a top provider with infinite possibilities in the local dental market.

Although they had established a robust foundation of offline loyal patients, their social media wasn't projecting the same level of energy or reputation. Posting was random, interaction was low, and their profiles weren't fully optimized. This left their online presence not quite keeping pace with their offline performance.

Soon, they realized that in today's competitive world, social media is a vital trust-building tool, a new patient attraction tool, and a community relevance tool. They wanted their online personas to exude the same warmth, knowledge, and commitment that patients felt in the chair.

The Challenges

We took a closer look at their Facebook and Instagram and uncovered several key issues that were holding them back from building trust and attracting local patients.

1. Inconsistent Posting & No Content Flow

They were posting, but without a clear plan or structure. Some weeks went completely silent, while other weeks saw a burst of back-to-back posts. There was no consistent rhythm, no monthly content calendar, and no themes to keep followers engaged over time. Without a predictable flow, the audience wasn’t forming a habit of checking their page.

2. Low Engagement Despite Posting Effort

Even when posts went up, they weren’t sparking conversations. Likes and comments were minimal, and shares were almost nonexistent. The Strategy

Seamlessly integrating into Eagle Rock Family Dentistry’s brand voice and patient-first approach, our social media strategy helped the practice strengthen local connections, increase real engagement, and ultimately position itself as the go-to family dentist in its area. Our work focused on four core areas:

1. Building a Consistent, Patient-Centered Content Framework

We started by mapping out what patients in their community actually wanted to see. Through research and past engagement data, we segmented their audience into key groups — young parents, working professionals, and seniors — each with different concerns and motivators.

From there, we built a content calendar with a steady rhythm: 8 posts and 4 videos every month, each tied to one of five pillars — education, trust & proof, team & culture, services, and community.

For example, a “Meet the Team Monday” post introduced their hygienists with fun facts, while a short video showed how sedation dentistry works to ease patient fears. By designing content specifically for these segments, we made sure every post had a purpose and resonated with someone directly.

2. Driving Local Reach Through Targeted Visibility Tactics

For a community-based dental practice, local visibility is everything. That’s why we implemented geotags, neighborhood-specific hashtags, and service-area mentions on every single post. This wasn’t just about SEO—it was about showing up where local patients were already searching and scrolling.

Stock photos don’t build trust—real faces do. We encouraged the Eagle Rock team to share authentic content: candid team photos, short patient testimonial clips (with consent), and behind-the-scenes moments like birthday celebrations or community events.

One of the biggest wins came from a “Transformation Tuesday” series featuring before-and-after smiles with a short patient story. Not only did these posts get higher engagement, but they also sparked private messages from people asking about similar treatments. By showing the humans behind the practice, we made their social presence warmer, more relatable, and instantly more trustworthy.

The Results (June–July 2025)

By combining these four areas — a consistent content framework, hyper-local targeting, conversion-focused profiles, and authentic storytelling — Eagle Rock Family Dentistry went from a quiet, low-engagement feed to a lively, trusted online presence that now mirrors the same warmth and professionalism they’re known for offline.
